Amy works in Milne Moser’s busy Kendal office as a sales negotiator dealing with all aspects of property sales from putting a property on the market, right up to completion.
We caught up with her for a chat and to see what she loves and sometimes dislikes, about her day.
Q. How do you set yourself up for the day ahead?
A. With a strong coffee and if I am walking to work, listening to music on way helps get me motivated for the day ahead. Some days can be really busy, so it is important to have the day start right!
Q. What is the favourite part of the day?
A. When we receive an offer (not the cheeky ones though) and discussing this with the vendor. It is a great feeling knowing that we could make someone’s day by agreeing a sale.
Q. What can be the worst part of the day?
A. If we need to tell one of our vendors that the sale has fallen through. It is never a great conversation to have as by this point, we have tried all avenues to keep the sale together.
Q. What is the most rewarding part of your job?
A. Getting great feedback and comments from our clients when a sale has completed is the best feeling. It really means a lot when we get such amazing comments.
Amy’s top property tip:
When looking on Rightmove, check daily and add the filter ‘added in the last 24 hours’ meaning you don’t need to go through all of the properties you have already seen.
